Sebastian Staacks has just released an easy way to create a photo slideshow for use on a Game Boy: Simply go to the website below, upload your pictures, make any necessary tweaks and then use the tool to generate a GameBoy ROM. This will run on anything that can load .gb files, including the Analoge Pocket and ROM Carts like the Everdrives. The project is open source and both the video above and website have lots more info:
